1.2 Office of the Vice President of ResearchRevised 1/29/03 The Office of the Vice President for Research administers support for research and scholarly/creative work across the entire university community. This support includes responsibilities for:
Externally supported research and training programs form a significant part of the academic enterprise at the University of Utah. Organizations reporting to the vice president for research are responsible for:
The vice president for research administers all intramural funding
programs including the UURF Technology Commercialization Project (TCP), the
University Research Committee, the Funding Incentive Seed Grant Program,
and the Research Instrumentation Fund. The University's
Research Misconduct Investigation Committee, and the Conflicts of Interest
Advisory Committee report to the research vice president. The vice
president for research serves as president for the University of Utah
Research Foundation, Inc. |
